Alameda County Medical Center (ACMC) has served its community since 1864, currently operating three hospitals: Highland Hospital, Fairmont Hospital, and John George Psychiatric Pavillion, as well as three community clinics: Eastmont Wellness Center, Winton Wellness Center, and Newark Health Center. ACMC supports residencies in Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; it has affiliations with residencies in Orthopedic Surgery and Podiatry.
