Highland Residents off to Haiti

The Highland Emergency International (HEI) group has set up opportunities for staff to help in disaster response efforts in Haiti. Residents and nurses are being deployed to Haiti in an ongoing manner through International Medical Corps (IMC), in an effort to establish a longterm, sustainable presence by HEI in Haiti, aiding in disaster relief, basic medical care, and humanitarian support.

Our thoughts are with Naomi Marks, Aaron Harries, Shankar LeVine, Opal Taylor, Erica Peters, Jeanette Ameziquita, and Takenya Spears, the first HEI group in Haiti, as well as with all volunteer personnel from around the world and the Haitian people.
